The entire Bible weaves together to point to one central figure: Jesus Christ, the Son of God. God’s plan to reconcile us was set into motion the moment Eve took a bite of the forbidden fruit. Jesus lived the perfect life we could not, died the death we deserved, and rose again to be the propitiation for our sins. He sits now, at the right hand of the Father, and offers the free gift of salvation to all who trust in Him. “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the World, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
1 John 4:9-10
